Day Treatment

H2020 | Structured Intensive

Day Treatment Program

Day Treatment is a structured, intensive mental health program that provides more support than traditional outpatient care — without requiring hospitalization. Clients attend programming during the day and return home in the evenings, maintaining community connection while receiving intensive therapeutic services.

Day Treatment includes:

  • Group and individual therapy sessions
  • Psychiatric evaluation and medication management
  • Life skills and coping skill development
  • Social skills training
  • Psychoeducation for clients and families
  • Transition and discharge planning
  • Crisis prevention planning

Who benefits: Individuals who need more than weekly therapy but do not require inpatient hospitalization — including those stepping down from inpatient care or stepping up from outpatient services.

Diagnostic Assessment

Before effective treatment can begin, we need to understand who you are and what you're dealing with. Our licensed clinicians conduct comprehensive biopsychosocial assessments that evaluate your mental health history, current symptoms, strengths, social functioning, and needs — and result in an accurate diagnosis and individualized treatment recommendation.

  • DSM-5 diagnostic evaluation
  • Mental health history and trauma screening
  • Substance use screening
  • Functional assessment and strengths identification
  • Level of care recommendation
  • Treatment plan development
  • School and vocational impact evaluation

Billing code: 90791. This is the starting point for all services. A diagnostic assessment is required before most treatment services begin.
